The researcher used triangulation methods to keep the validity. The study's findings demonstrated that playing online games can become addictive and have an impact on a number of areas, including a reliance that makes it difficult to stop playing. As a result, players frequently claimed that their lives would be meaningless without online gaming. They were intolerant of the use of time and their inability to regulate their emotions as a result of game defeats. They claimed that the amount of time required to play online games was uncertain.

The effect of online games on children's mental health is explored in this piece. If a person's game-playing behavior is extreme enough to negatively affect himself, his family, friends, education, job, and other essential things, a psychologist or psychiatrist may diagnose that person as having a game addiction. A person's game addiction pattern must typically last for at least 12 months before a psychologist or psychiatrist can make a diagnosis, though this time frame may be shortened if the negative effects of gaming on the person's daily life are very apparent. Children who are addicted to online gaming exhibit symptoms such as losing focus on other everyday tasks, paying less attention in class, and having constant game-related thoughts.
